Carsedge Car Rental was founded during the summer of 2014, with its main thrust being to provide reliable car rental services.

Why are we Different?

There is a great demand for a more accessible car rental company that is also professional, considerate, and reasonable in terms of prices.  

Oftentimes, a company may be able to give great prices but is lacking in professionalism and accessibility. In other instances a company may be accessible and professional, but the prices are so high due to the demand, that it simply makes no economic sense.   

As such, if you are looking for a company that can succeed where others have failed, then Carsedge Car Rental is the company for you because we have successfully integrated all of these qualities into our services.

Our Age Policy

If you are 18 - 23 years old, you may only rent with another licensed driver 24+ years old.

We are strategically located at 73 South 3rd Ave, Mount Vernon, next to the Mount Vernon East Metro north line and along popular bus routes, making it easily accessible. 

We cater primarily to the local residents and business professionals of Mount Vernon, and also to surroundings areas of New Rochelle, Pelham, Yonkers, Bronxville, and the Bronx.

Our Philosophy

Travelers should be able to access car rental services outside of regular business hours such as late evenings, weekends, and public holidays, without having to travel all the way to the airports to do so.

Policies / Testimonials

Fees

LATE RETURN FEE: 

If the vehicle is returned late, a $5 charge will be incurred for every hour or part thereof after the reserved return time.

FUELING FEE:

$25 will be charged for returning the vehicle with less fuel than it was rented with.

VEHICLE CLEANING FEE:

$45 if you leave the vehicle unfit or unclean, have smoked in the vehicle, or have allowed non-service animals in the vehicle outside of their animal carriers, plus the cost of cleaning.

IGNITION KEY REPLACEMENT FEE:

$200 if you lose or take the vehicle's keys plus the cost of delivering replacement keys or towing the vehicle to the nearest maintenance location.

PROCESSING FEE FOR CITATIONS:

Ticket or citation incurred during a rental that is processed or paid by Carsedge Solutions, Inc. 

MILEAGE FEE:

$0.30 for each mile that you drive in excess of 180 miles per day for each day of the rental.

LOYALTY CLUBS

TERMS & CONDITIONS

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY. BY ACCESSING OR PARTICIPATING IN THE LOYALTY CLUBS, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND ALL TERMS INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE AS DESCRIBED BELOW. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, YOU MAY NOT ACCESS OR PARTICIPATE IN THE LOYALTY CLUBS.

These Carsedge Rentals Loyalty Club Terms and Conditions (“Club Terms) apply to your access to and participation in the Loyalty Club Program (“Club Program or “Club Club), which is operated by The Carsedge Solutions,Inc. or its affiliates (collectively, “Carsedge Car Rental", “Carsedge Rentals”, “our, “us or “we). These Club Terms do not alter in any way the terms or conditions of any other agreement you may have with Carsedge Rentals. In addition,these Club Terms complement and incorporate by reference your car rental contract. In the event of any conflict between the Club Terms and the rental contract terms, the rental contract will control.

Carsedge Rentals reserves the right to change, modify and/or eliminate the Club Program and/or all or any portion of these Club Terms or any policy pertaining to the Club Program at any time and in our sole discretion, including our right to discontinue or change the clubs or benefits or change the expiration date of Club Points received under the Club Program,merge the Club Program with another Club program, or to adjust how Club Points are earned, calculated or redeemed.

It is possible that you may be unable to receive enough Club Points to redeem a Club reward if we discontinue the Club Program or merge the Club Program into another Club program. If we make changes, we will post the amended Club Terms in the office and update the Effective Date above. We may also attempt to notify you in other ways. Unless we say otherwise, the amended Club Terms will be effective immediately and your continued participation in the Club Program will confirm your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the amended Club Terms,you must stop participating in the Club Program.

1. Loyalty Club Eligibility

You must be an approved driver who is at least 25 years of age to participate in the Loyalty program. This Loyalty Program is meant for personal use only, and commercial use by commercial customers and persons renting for other business related activities are not eligible to participate in the Loyalty Program.

2. Loyalty Club Description

Our Club  Program is a free customer loyalty program that allows our renters to earn points with qualifying rentals. Renters may also earn Club Points by participating in other promotional activities that may be offered from time to time.

3. Joining the Loyalty Clubs

There are no fees associated with the Club Program. To become a member of each rewards club,you must acquire the minimum points needed for that club. To remain a member of that club, you must abide by the clubs minimum rental rules and car care guidelines.

4. Earning Club Points

There are two ways of earning club points. The easiest and most exciting way is to rent and to rent frequently! The second way is to provide successful referrals.

5. Impact of Rental Returns on your Club Points and Club

Provided that payment is successfully collected for three infractions, such as returning a vehicle unwashed, scratched or otherwise damaged (exterior), not vacuumed, scratched or otherwise damaged (interior) and less than a full tank, your points will not be affected.

However, on the 4th occurrence and each occurrence afterwards, you forfeit all rental points for that rental period. If the infractions continue, you will loose your club standing and benefits per the sole discretion of Carsedge Rentals.

Eventually, you will be added to the no-rent list and will be unable to access any services provided by Carsedge Car Rentals.

6. Miscellaneous

Without notice to you, Carsedge Rentals reserves the right to suspend or terminate your Club Account and/or your participation in the Clubs Program, if Carsedge Rentals determines in its sole discretion that you have violated these Club Terms or if your participation in the Clubs Program is unauthorized, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful.

Carsedge Rentals may,in its sole discretion, suspend, cancel or combine Rewards Program Accounts that appear to be duplicative. In the event that your participation in the Rewards Program is terminated, you will not be able to redeem any accumulated Rewards Points.

Without notice to you, Carsedge Rentals also reserves the right to “un-register" a Rewards Program Account that is inactive and cause that Rewards Program Account to be ineligible for the Rewards Program. An inactive Rewards Program Account is defined as a Rewards Program Account that has not earned Rewards Points for one year.

In the event that your Rewards Program Account is unregistered due to inactivity, then you will no longer be eligible for Rewards Program benefits. You may reactivate your Rewards Program Account by restarting the program.
